| Lapis Lazuli is a semi-precious stone composed of at least 14 different minerals, including lazurite, which gives its characteristic blue color; wollastonite and calcite, which are responsible for the streaks of grey and white; and pyrite, which gives it its golden highlights. There are only two countries in the world with significant lapis lazuli deposits--Afghanistan and Chile. Lapis Lazuli comes is sold by “percent blue”, which ranges from 30% to 95%. The average delivery time for manufacturer in-stock items is approximately 2-3 weeks from the date of the order. The average delivery time of out-of-stock items and non-stock items is 4-6 weeks from the date of the order. This will vary by manufacturer. If your order requires expedited service, please contact us by eMail or phone for specifics. Ground shipping will be calculated and presented at checkout for continental US addresses only. Hawaii, Alaska and International customers will need to select zone 1 and/or contact us for the shipping cost.
